Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville)
Preferred candidates will have a successful track record as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef with full-service restaurant experience. We need talented leaders that are motivated by a commitment to the highest quality and freshness in an entrepreneurial environment. Our chefs are hands on in exciting high volume kitchens and assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation; control food and labor costs while making raving fans of our guests, fellow aFISHionados, purveyors, shareholders and the communities in which we do business.
*2-3 years of related progressive experience in an upscale casual dining environment, ala carte kitchen.
*A culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience is desired.
*A hands on management style with strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff.
*A strong understanding of F&B preparation and cost control techniques
*A solid understanding of food safety practices and health department rules and regulations.
